Pinecrest is a church full of believers that are willing to share their faith throughout the community. The people of Pinecrest Baptist Church believe that we are called into a loving and caring community to glorify God and to reflect the life of Christ in our lives. We are a diverse, family-oriented church committed to spiritual and personal growth through the application of biblical truths. We seek to live a life empowered by the Holy Spirit and dedicated to sharing God’s love with others. Pinecrest is a church family that values biblical preaching, heartfelt worship, and the Great Commission.

Ministries:
Children-
We love children at Pinecrest Baptist Church. They are not just the future of the church; they ARE the church. They play a significant role in our church today, and they are part of the Body of Christ. Through Sunday School, Mission Friends, GA’s and RA’s we have a deep desire to instill the love of Christ through Scripture-centered teaching while having fun!
Youth-
Pinecrest youth, 6th-12th grade regularly worship God, grow their relationship with God and each other as they go out and serve the local community! Our youth meet on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights for our weekly worship and Bible study along with our various events that happen throughout the year.
Men-
Our men’s ministry has a foundation of biblical truth, prayer, fellowship and is inspired by Christ-centered worship. They meet once a month growing vital relationships.
Church-
We are involved in our local community ministries such as Enon Association, Linden Square, and Linden Nursing Home. We give to State, Lottie Moon, and Annie Armstrong Offerings. Through our church mission program, items are given throughout the year for Christmas Child Shoeboxes, women’s shelter, homeless shelter in Texarkana, and other needs that arise
- Mission:
- Be a people who are encouraged by one another to live day-to-day as the ‘salt and light’, prepared to ‘grow the Kingdom’ as we share Christ, and opportunities to serve others through mission giving, praying, and doing. Above all, we should be a people who love God, love each other, and love the community we are called to serve.
- Develop people who serve in the life of the church to fulfill its mission using the gifts God has given to each of us as a body.
- Encourage spiritual growth in God’s word through the teaching in Bible Study groups and preaching in worship.
- We want to continue to be rooted in God’s Word and to be helped in this by receiving inspirational Bible-based preaching and teaching – from a new Pastor and others who are already part of our church.
