Clearwater First Baptist Church in Clearwater, SC is in search of a Worship Pastor. The one who fills this position will support and coordinate with the Lead Pastor to ensure that worship ministries of the church are conducted in a way that leads to the strengthening and growth of the church. This is a full-time, exempt position.

The person who fills this position will be a born-again believer who is passionate about local church work and worship ministry. In addition, the ideal candidate will agree with the church’s stated beliefs, the Lead Pastor’s vision for the church, have a seminary degree, and a competency with audio visual equipment, as well as streaming methods.
General Job Description
The Worship Pastor will support and coordinate with the Lead Pastor to ensure that worship ministries of the church are conducted in a way that lead to the strengthening and growth of the church.
Responsibilities
The Worship Pastor is responsible to:
- Inspire, develop, and lead a choir that will lead worship at public worship gatherings.
- Inspire, develop, and lead praise teams that will lead worship at public worship gatherings.
- Inspire, develop, and lead orchestras, instrumental ensembles, and bands that will lead worship at public worship gatherings.
- Inspire, develop, and lead out in multigenerational efforts that would incorporate various ages (children to seniors) and styles of music.
- Plan, develop, and host regular worship events to promote a spirit of worship in the church.
- Help arrange and provide music for weddings, funerals, church events, and other activities as needed.
- Lead, support, and coordinate worship arts, technical capacities, and promotional methods of church.
- Work alongside the Music Committee to create and oversee the annual budget of the worship ministry.
- As an associate pastor, participate in helping the staff provide pastoral care for members.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Lead Pastor.
Accountability
The Worship Pastor is administratively and operationally accountable to the Lead Pastor in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
