Position: Full-Time Pastor (Bi-Vocational Option Available)
Location: Delhi Baptist Church, Delhi/Rosanky, Texas
Compensation: Salary and Benefits Negotiable (Parsonage Home Available)
Delhi Baptist Church is seeking a man called by God to serve as our full-time pastor. We are searching for a pastor who is passionate about shepherding a church in a rural community with love, humility, and biblical truth. Our Sunday morning attendance is between 35-50 souls. We welcome candidates who feel called to lead us spiritually and engage actively in ministry both inside and outside of the church.
Key Responsibilities:
Preach and teach the Word of God faithfully each week.
Lead and oversee worship services, prayer gatherings, and Bible studies.
Provide pastoral care, including counseling, weddings, funerals and hospital visits.
Encourage spiritual growth and discipleship within the congregation
Develop relationships within the community and foster outreach opportunities
Work with church leadership to maintain vision and unity for the future
Position Options:
Full-Time Pastor: This is a full-time pastoral role. However, recognizing the nature of rural ministry, we offer the flexibility of a bi-vocational option if needed.
Compensation Package:
Salary and benefits: To be discussed prior to employment, based on experience and needs.
Parsonage home: Included as part of the salary package for housing, if desired
Qualifications:
A deep and personal relationship with Jesus Christ
Evidence of a clear calling to pastoral ministry
Strong preaching, teaching and leadership abilities
Ability to connect with and serve a rural community
Commitment to biblical values and the mission of the church
