Emmanuel Baptist Church in New Caney, Texas, is seeking a passionate, Spirit-led worship leader ready to help shape the future of a growing church. This role will play a vital role in continuing to build a gospel-centered, multi-generational worship experience.Located 30 miles northeast of Downtown Houston, New Caney is a rapidly growing and developing area in need of vibrant, dynamic, Christ-centered churches, which Emmanuel Baptist Church aims to be daily. At 8 years old, our church family is meeting at New Caney High School, and it is at the critical stage of transitioning from being a church plant to becoming firmly established in its community. With five acres already in our possession, a proposed 7000 sqft facility slated to break ground in September of 2025, and three straight years of 15%-20% growth, there is no better time to join in on what the Lord is doing.We are prayerfully searching for someone to carry the torch and lead our congregation in heartfelt, Christ-exalting worship each Sunday. This person should possess a collaborative spirit and a vision for theology-based worship that draws people into the presence of God. The responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, planning Sunday services, training and developing the worship team, utilizing Planning Center, and ensuring the order of service is created in ProPresenter. This role can be a part-time or full-time position.
