Compass Fellowship of Waco is looking to hire a Part Time Worship / Youth Pastor. Salary based on experience and availabilty for about 10 - 15 hours a week. We are a church plant with a passion for God's Word and a heart to proclaim the Good New of Jesus Christ. Our desire is to see lives transformed and people drawn closer to the Lord.
The right person for this position would be someone with a genuine relationship with Jesus, a heart to serve the Body of Christ, a passion for God's Word and prayer as well as musical/technical ability and skill.
The duties of this position would include:
Planning and Leading the Worship / Tech team each week during the Sunday Morning Service.
Scheduling weekly practices for the Worship Team.
Ensuring the Technical aspects of the serve are functioning properly.
Leading the youth ministry of our church. This involves leading the weekday home group and maintaing contact with the youth through the week. Planning a monthly event for ministry / fellowship.
Meeting weekly with the Pastor to pray and plan.
Working with the pastor in other areas as needed.
