Do you feel called to help lead the local church in corporate worship?
Our local church has opportunity to lead corporate worship and plan services with the senior pastor:
Our preference is to sing hymns (with modern instrumentation), and also new theologically rich songs.
Our preference is that a music leader would play guitar; although not a requirement (1Cor 14:40).
Styles of songs: Hymns of Grace Hymnal, CityAlight, Sovereign Grace Music, Getty's, Stuart Townened, T4G, etc.
This opportunity is part-time, 10-15hrs wk, with negotiable stipend.
This opportunity is also compatible with someone seeking a 6 month | 1year| type of a local church internship.
This opportunity is available as an internship for seminary credit, with theological papers and books assigned.

Galveston County Church was formed in 2020 after a merger of two congregation, Galveston Church (2018) and First Baptist Church of Hitchcock (1945). We are a "re-plant" or a revitalization effort. God gives the growth (1Cor 3:7).
