Women's Ministry Resident

The Women’s Resident at Southcrest Baptist Church plays a vital role in assisting the Women’s Minister, Melissa Meredith, to help women find their greatest pleasure and purpose in Jesus. This position is essential in upholding our team’s commitment to the spiritual flourishing, equipping, and mobilization of women in our local church.

As a Women’s Ministry Resident, you will have the opportunity to assist with event coordination, manage our Women’s Ministry podcast and social media platforms, lead outreach initiatives, and cultivate a welcoming and intentional community.  You will play a vital role in promoting growth and development within the Women's Ministry.

This positions responsibilities may include:

• Collaborative effort to support the flourishing, discipleship, and mobilization of women
• Coordinate with local non-profits for outreach efforts
• Oversee inventory and assembly of care packages for women in crisis
• Ensure follow-up, continued connection, and follow-through with attendees of events 
• Help create and implement events that assist with the connections and assimilation process of new female members
• Provide necessary logistical support during events
• Assist in cultivating Southcrest Women’s social media platforms and podcast
• Execute communication and marketing plans for events & resources
