Church Secretary
The Church Secretary reports to the Pastor.
The Church Secretary position is a part-time position with expected working hours to be Monday through Thursday, 9am to 2pm.
The Church Secretary plays a crucial role in supporting the administrative functions of the church. Primary functions include managing communication, maintaining records, scheduling appointments and events, assisting with financial matters, and supporting the Pastoral Staff and congregation. The Church Secretary is a point of contact for members and visitors, helping to ensure the smooth operation of the church's day-to-day activities.
Computer literacy—especially with Office software is required. Experience in a secretarial or clerical role is preferred. English language skills are required. Graphic Design experience is a plus. Candidates should have a warm and welcoming attitude and an ability to interact with others in a kind and uplifting manner. The Church Secretary’s physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry up to 30lbs.
