WORSHIP LEADER
Objective: To provide leadership to the music and media ministry of the church, and lead music for the church body in corporate worship.
Description: to work with the Preaching Pastor to plan all worship services; to train and oversee all musicians, media crew, etc. who are involved in these worship services; to set up and maintain sound and lighting in the sanctuary and organize equipment; and to participate in other ministries of the church as needed and agreed upon with the elders and/or the Preaching Pastor.
MEDIA DIRECTOR
Objective: To connect members and reach out to the community by managing online content and other media materials.
Description: Oversee or delegate maintenance of the church website and social media (weekly postings); to edit video/audio sermon material for publication; to create online and print advertising strategies in coordination with the Preaching Pastor
Job Qualifications: Shall be a devoted follower of Christ and a member of Covenant Baptist Church; must be committed to the mission of the church and its philosophy of worship, and supportive of its ministries; must live a morally exemplary life and have a growing personal relationship with Christ; must demonstrate an ability to understand and articulate the truths of the Scriptures and be in agreement with the church's Statement of Faith; must be able to work with others and communicate well; must demonstrate musical and technical proficiency and the ability to lead others in a Christ-honoring fashion.
