General Description:The Senior Pastor is leader of pastoral ministries in the church. As such the Pastor works with the church council to proclaim the gospel to believers and unbelievers, to lead the church in the achievement of its purpose, and to care for the church’s members and other persons in the community. The Senior Pastor is supervised by the Personnel Committee.
Qualifications:The Senior Pastor is to be a licensed and ordained Baptist minister of the Gospel. He should articulate and demonstrate a divine calling on his life. The Senior Pastor is to be called by the church according to the process set forth in the bylaws.
