Farley Street Baptist Church is a 110-year-old, missionary Baptist church located in Waxahachie, Texas. We are a conservative, Bible-believing, and teaching church with a blended worship style. Our weekly attendance is approximately 400 in SS/Life Groups and 500 in worship, with a student ministry of around 40. We are affiliated with the Baptist Missionary Association of America.

Our vision is to be the church “where you have a friend.” Friendship is the heartbeat of who we want to be- A Community of Friends Committed to Jesus Christ. Our theme verse is John 15:13, Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends. Our mission is to bring people to a supreme friendship with Jesus, his family, and to befriend the unchurched for the glory of God.

We seek to accomplish this as we practice COMMUNITY in weekly SS/Life Groups and become COMMITTED as a 5>5>5 Disciple. 555 is our Friend Code for a disciple that practices at least 5 Minutes of Daily Bible Reading, prays the 5 Points of the Lord’s Prayer (Praise, Petition, Pardon, Protection, Providence), and has 5 People in their circle (i.e., the friends we connect with, care for, and challenge on a weekly basis). It is out of the discipleship practice of COMMITTED COMMUNITY that we fulfill our purposes of worship, discipleship, ministry, and mission.
