Pastor

East Side Baptist Church Haskell is accepting application for a full time pastor.  Applications will be taken until February 28, 2024

Spiritual Leader:

• Provide spiritual leadership and guidance to the congregation.
• Preach sermons and teach biblical principles during worship services.
• Conduct Bible studies, prayer meetings, and other spiritual development activities

Pastoral Care:

• Provide pastoral care to individuals and families, including counseling, visitations, and support during times of crisis.
• Conduct weddings, funerals, baptisms, and other sacraments or ceremonies.

Administration:

• Oversee the overall administration and management of the church.
• Collaborate with church staff and volunteers to plan and organize events, programs, and services

Community Outreach:

• Engage with the local community and develop outreach programs to address social issues and meet the needs of the community.
• Foster relationships with other churches, community organizations, and leaders.

Worship Leadership:

• Oversee and participate in the planning of worship services.
• Foster an atmosphere of reverence, praise, and worship.

Teaching and Training:

• Train and equip leaders and volunteers for various ministries within the church.
• Provide educational opportunities for the congregation to deepen their understanding of the Bible and Christian doctrine.

Administration of Sacraments:

• Administer sacraments such as communion and baptism in accordance with the church's beliefs and practices.

Personal Development: - Engage in ongoing personal and professional development, including continued education, spiritual retreats, and collaboration with other pastors and leaders.
