The First Baptist Church of Winona (FBCW) is a growing congregation of approximately 125 people of all ages.  Our church family enjoys a vibrant worship experience that blends contemporary music with cherished hymns.  We are a welcoming and community-focused church with a vision for continued growth.  Our current ministerial staff includes a part-time Pastor and a part-time Youth Minister, both bi-vocational.

Position Summary:

FBCW is seeking a passionate and dedicated part-time Minister of Music to lead the Sunday morning worship service by creating meaningful and engaging worship experiences that inspire our congregation and enhance our connection to God.

Qualifications:

• Must be a born-again follower of Jesus Christ with a heart for worship and discipleship.
• Must have strong organizational, communication and vocal skills.
• Must be able to work collaboratively with the Pastor and other church leaders.
• Experience in leading congregational singing and leading others in worship in a church setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize and lead the music for the Sunday morning worship service that blends contemporary music styles with traditional hymns.
• Organize and lead rehearsals of worship team to prepare for Sunday services.
• Coordinate with the Pastor and other ministry leaders to develop a cohesive and thematically relevant worship service.
