OUR CHURCH:
New Life in Christ Baptist Church Bi-vocational Pastor Job Posting is a Southern Baptist church located in the midsized, community of Belton, TX. The location of the community is Bell County of Central Texas. The church is pursuing a man of God to lead and work with the congregation, to carry out the purpose of the church in and around our community, as well as the call to serve, wherever that leads.
New Life in Christ Baptist Church is a new church plant of dedicated believers averaging 30 – 35 in attendance for Sunday Morning worship services. The church currently holds Sunday School, Sunday Morning Worship services, and a Sunday evening Bible Study.
THE CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate should be a compassionate and spiritually driven individual who can provide spiritual guidance, leadership, and support to the congregation. This role involves preaching, discipleship, pastoral care, community engagement, and leadership within the church.
THE QUALIFICATIONS:
• Be a role model and example of personal discipleship, Christian behavior and living, stewardship, spiritual growth, and ministry service (I Timothy 3:1-7, I Peter 5:1-4, Acts 20:28-32, Titus 1:5-9, I Timothy 5:17).
• The pastor will be the preacher and leader of worship.
• Follow the Baptist Faith and Message, as well as the constitution and by-laws of the church.
• Provide opportunities for Christian education.
• Provide spiritual guidance and counseling, when needed.
• Work with the leadership to give pastoral care during crisis, illness and/or death within the church or community we serve.
• Help resolve conflict and build unity among members when needed.
• Build relationships within the communities of Bell County, to promote the church’s presence and mission.
