Coggin Avenue Baptist Church in Brownwood, TX is seeking a Pastor of Leadership & Missions.  

Summary of responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the overall excellence of Coggin, its staff, and its facilities. 
  • Provides strategic leadership, oversees the church's operations, and works closely with the Senior Pastor to integrate the vision and goals of the church. 
  • Leads and oversees the church staff except for the Senior Pastor and Worship Pastor. 
  • Provides leadership in developing and implementing the church's missions ministries - locally & globally.  

Qualifications for this full time position:

  • A mature follower of Christ and called servant of the Gospel
  • Gifted in leadership and administration
  • Skilled in relationship building among staff, congregation, and community
  • Undergraduate degree required.  Seminary or master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years ministerial leadership preferred.  This experience does not have to be as lead pastor.
  • Licensed and/or ordained minister preferred.
