FBC Forney’s Summer Internship Program exists to encourage young men and women who desire ministry leadership training for the purpose of clarifying or furthering a call to vocational ministry. Through practical teaching, real world experience, and ministry coaching, FBC Forney’s summer interns will have an opportunity to grow, lead, and serve Christ’s church.  

The program is open to any person who has an interest in ministry leadership and meets the character, competency, and chemistry requirements of each position.

Application Process:

• Submission of Application, Resume, and Short Video (1-3 minute video that explains why you are interested) using the link above
• Phone and/or In-Person Interview
• Crafting a Ministry Project around your goals and desires for the internship process

Requirements/Additional Information: 

• Internships will run from May 13 – July 31, 2024
• Occasionally, interns may be offered the opportunity to extend their internships, either through the summer months or an additional school year as part of the FBC Forney residency program
• Interns will work approximately 20 hours per week
• All summer intern positions are paid a stipend
• All summer interns must be 18-30 years old and a will be required to complete a background check prior to their start date
• Some travel may be required, depending on the internship area for camps, mission trips, etc.
• Limited housing is available for qualified interns who are not from the Forney, TX area
