JOB TITLE: Director of Video Production
REPORTING TO: Technical Director
JOB PURPOSE: The Director of Video Production is tasked with telling story through creative video content and management of a live video production environment. The ideal candidate has an eye for cinematic style, a broad understanding of current trends in both live and pre-produced video production, and a passion for excellence and volunteer development.

SALARY RANGE: Salary based on Experience

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The Director of Video Production will oversee 3 areas:
Single Camera Production: You will take projects from concept to completion. Whether on a team or your own, we want someone who can tell visual stories. Projects can include bumpers, testimonies, and highlight videos, as well as narrative and documentary pieces. Basic knowledge of shooting and editing is required. Any skill in digital animation is a plus. We use Adobe CC.
Multi-camera Production: You will lead our team of staff and volunteers to produce our live video streaming content for weekend worship and events. We are looking for someone with either the skills or aptitude to learn the skills, to lead our live video production efforts.
Volunteer Recruitment and Development: You will recruit, train, and maintain a team of video volunteers. We want someone who can build on our small community of media volunteers.
Our media team consists of 4 positions. Led by a Technical Director, you will serve alongside an Audio Director and a Lighting/Systems Director. Reporting to the Senior Associate Pastor of Worship and Administration, the media team at Mobberly is responsible for the audio, video, and lighting needs across all of our ministries. To accomplish this, you will cross-train in order to support our team.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not supervise other positions. This position does supervise volunteers.
