Hospitality House Director

We are seeking a couple to manage our Hospitality House. The Hospitality House provides housing to families of inmates as they visit their incarcerated loved ones in our local prisons.  We also from time-to-time help domestic abuse victims from our local Life Center, as well as those that may be effected by a local emergency.

The idea couple would be a retired couple. Bilingual would be very helpful, but not necessary. The couple must not smoke or drink and except the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.

A two-bedroom apartment, along with all paid utilities, and $1000 monthly salary. Time off is granted liberally.

Responsibilities include the following:

• Oversee the daily operation of the ministry.
• Oversee any maintenance projects that have been approved by the Hospitality House Team.
• Oversee the work of other paid employees and volunteers.
• Serve as hosts for all weekends the house is open unless arrangements have been made for a substitute.
• Receive all reservations by phone or other means of communication and make room assignments.
• Attend all meetings of the Hospitality House Team and be accountable to this team.
• Be available to speak to churches and organizations about the ministry.
• Give a ministry report to the executive team of the Crossroads Baptist Association at each meeting.
• This positions answers directly to the association mission strategist of the Crossroads Baptist Association.
