Overview:

Clay Road Baptist Church, located in Houston, TX, seeks a part-time worship minister to lead our worship ministry. Our worship services are a blend between contemporary music and traditional hymns. Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and overall direction for the worship ministry.
  • Plan weekly worship services.
  • Purchase, maintain and repair music and audio equipment as needed.
  • Lead an organized mid-week practice and Sunday morning rehearsal.

Requirements:

  • Must be a member of Clay Road Baptist Church/ willing to become one.
  • Must possess a calling to serve the church by leading others in worship.
  • Must possess significant abilities as a vocalist and instrumentalist.
  • Must possess prior experience leading worship.

Skills:

  • Proficient knowledge of Planning Center/ Music Stand/ Praise Charts.
  • A good understanding of sound systems and technology is preferred.
