Overview:

The student minister will report directly to the pastor and elders of FBC. His primary responsibility will be to minister to our students and their families in order to help them be faithful followers of Jesus Christ by sharing the gospel with those who do not know Him and further discipling those who do.

 

Qualifications:

  • A personal relationship with Jesus Christ
  • A passion for ministry
  • A desire to teach/preach the word of God
  • An ability to communicate and build relationships with students
  • Either acquiring or in pursuit of further theological education

 

Responsibilities:

  • Planning/teaching youth Bible studies
  • Organizing youth activities (camps, conferences, service projects)
  • Assist the pastor in ministry to the church
  • Mentor students in the Christian faith
