This is a full-time position; however, the Worship Pastor responsibilities are only a portion of the overall role. In addition to leading worship, the Worship Pastor will oversee other ministry areas based on their unique gifts, strengths, and the church's needs.

The ideal candidate will be:
1. A Pastor and Musician - Someone who views worship ministry as both spiritual leadership and musical artistry.
2. Ministry Leader - Possesses a heart for the spiritual growth of both the congregation and the worship ministry team.
3. Relational and Inspiring - Brings an enthusiastic presence and relational skills to lead a medium-to-large congreation in authentic worship.
4. Musically Skilled - Proficient in vocal and instrumental leadership, including the ability to direct rehearsals and lead others musically.
5. Organized and Administrative - Able to handle scheduling, planning, budgeting, and interpersonal coordination effectively.
6. Technologically Proficient - Skilled in operating worship technology including sound, lighting, live streaming, projection, computers, videography, and related software/hardware.
7. A Team-Oriented Self-Starter - Brings a positive, encouraging attitude and thrives in both independent and collaborative environments.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Spiritual Leadership
* Maintain an authentic, growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
* Provide spiritual guidance and pastoral care to worship teams.
2. Team Development
* Build, train, and lead worship-related teams, including musicians, vocalists, technical staff, and volunteers.
* Encourage ongoing growth through books, conferences, and training resources, as the budget allows.
3. Corporate Worship Leadership
* Plan and lead all corporate worship services in consultation with the Senior Pastor.
* Ensure all worship elements align with the theme, are theologically accurate, and enhance the worship experience.
* Oversee music selection, media presentation, sound and lighting, and coordination of all service participants.
* Serve as the primary worship leader and direct rehearsals and weekly activities to support services.
4. Community Outreach
* Develop ways to use music and worship for evangelism and outreach.
5. Administrative Oversight
* Propose and manage the worship ministry budget.
* Set and evaluate worship ministry goals in alignment with the FOHC vision.
6. Collaborative Ministry
* Assist the Pastor of Student Ministries with worship-related needs.
* Be open to taking on additional ministry responsibilities in line with personal strengths and the church's needs.
