We are looking for a candidate that has a strong call towards Children's Ministry.
The Four Values of our Kids Ministry at First Baptist
Bible saturated. We believe that Scripture is the means of personal transformation. We want the inspired, inerrant, life transforming Text to drive every Bible study, every song we sing, and the disciple-making relationships that will produce passionate lovers of Christ. We want kids to love the Bible, to memorize it, to meditate on it, and to be Psalm 1 trees.
Family Equipped. We aim at the highest standards in Youth and Kids Ministry in spiritual development. We take seriously the role we have in partnering with parents and helping them be what God has called them to be: the primary disciple-maker of the home. We give our kids and parents tools, resources and a discipleship pathway from infancy to graduation.
Trained Leaders. We strive for a fun, creative environment with adult workers who love and invest in kids and their parents. We want to have a KidsMin environment staffed with a team of passionate workers, trained regularly, collaborating often, and striving for the same goal of excellence and spiritual transformation.
Ministry Safe. We will have the highest standards of safety and security for children. Along with Ministry Safe training required for all kids workers, we also follow a KidsMin Handbook. This handbook follows the best practices and policies regarding child abuse protection and reporting, safety and security, emergency procedures, managing health concerns of children, and leader guidelines.
