The Associate Pastor to Families with Students, among other duties, will:

-This position is open to men who are ordained to the ministry (or who aspire to be ordained) and are presently qualified according to
1 Timothy 3:1-7, 1 Peter 5:1-4, and Titus 1:5-9. The candidate should also demonstrate the personality, gifting, and talents that accompany a ministry calling.
-This position is for an extroverted person who has a love for students and genuinely enjoys being with people. If you love kids, are intentional about making them feel welcome, are full of compassion, and are relatable, this will be a good fit.
-The candidate should be a strong teacher, grounded in the text, with a desire to grow as a teacher and pastor.

-Our church attendance runs between 250-280 on average. Our annual budget is around $640K. FBCO is SBC and dually aligned with the BGCT and the SBTC. Our Statement of Faith is the 1833 New Hampshire Confession, although we have slightly modified it and added some language to it from the BFM2000. We also agree with the 1978 Chicago Statement on Inerrancy, and the 2017 Nashville Statement on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood. We have a Church Covenant that lays out the expectations of membership. Job Summary:
- This is a full-time vocational ministry position. We are seeking a candidate who is a hard-working team player with a wide variety of talents and skills.
- The candidate will help the Senior Pastor serve in different areas of the church as needed. The candidate will have specific oversight of the ministry to our families with youth.
- Compensation is range is 40K+ per year with a parsonage. The church does not offer health insurance for the minister and his family as a benefit. Church ministers and employees purchase their own insurance. The church matches the minister’s contributions to a 403(b) plan up to 3%. The parsonage is a spacious three bedroom, two bath home located in Olney
