The Minister has the responsibility to help us fulfill this value in the following three areas.
Create Adult Discipleship Opportunities
The Minister will demonstrate a commitment to the discipleship that Jesus calls us to, and will develop opportunities that mobilize our adults to become better disciples. The Minister will organize and supervise volunteers who will serve adults in all walks of life, including single adults, married adults, and senior adults.
Resource the Leaders for Preschool, Children, and Youth Discipleship Programs
The preschool ministry leadership, the children’s ministry leadership and youth ministry leadership directly report to the Senior Pastor. However, the Minister of Education and Administration has an important role to play with these part-time ministry positions. As a full-time staff member tasked with adult education programming, the Minister will provide the suggestions and encouragement these leaders need. As administrator, the Minister will advise the part-time ministers on the budgeting and spending of money, and will assist in the scheduling and improvements of the spaces the part-time ministers use.
Administer the Resources of the Church
The Minister will be responsible for the church’s financial and material resources, by supervising paid and volunteer personnel as needed to accomplish these things.
