Job Overview: Contemporary Worship Ministry

The Contemporary Worship Minister will serve as the primary worship leader for two services at 9:30 and 11:00. This is a part time positon, but we are willing to go full time if the right canditate comes along. A full time candidate must be willing to hold more responsibilities according to their own gifting.   

Responsibilities

Corporate worship: Lead a worship ministry that helps the church reach her mission and vision of being a Great Commission, Great Commandment Acts 1:8 church. This is done through choosing theologically rich songs and leading worship in a Spirit-empowered way. It also includes the corporate reading of Scripture, and public prayer.

Technology:  Oversee technologies used at Broadview to make Sunday worship and special services as seamless as possible. A current list of technologies used can be seen under competencies below.

Qualifications

Character

• An authentic and active devotional life
• Integrity, character and conviction
• Active in personal evangelism
• A distinct passion for worship ministry
• Meet qualifications of 1 Tim 3:1-7; Titus 1:6-9

Competencies 

• Worship Leading: Must be able to lead worship from a guitar or piano, have previous use of in-ear monitors, be familiar with the use of multitracks, be able to publicly read Scripture well, and pray out-loud in a theologically consistent way.
  
  
• Live-streaming: ECamm software, Black Magic ATEM Mini & software, Dante Audio Routing, Subsplash (Media hosting platform), and Protools
  
  
• Audio Production: Multitracks, IEMs, Behringer x32, Mainstage 3, General Sound Mixing, Sound Routing, Dante virtual sound card, Setting instrument specific EQ, Mackie ProFX12v3, and Roland SPD-SX
  
  
• Graphic Creation: Conversant with Photoshop and/or similar software as well as the basics around digital design.
  
  
• Audio/Production: Propresenter 7, MyDmx Lighting software, iMovie/Final Cut 
  
  

Education & Experience:

• 3 years experience in a ministry context.
• Bachelor’s ideal but not required. Mdiv is a plus.
