TurningPoint Fellowship Church is seeking a bivocational church planter to aid in taking our church to the next level of reaching our community for Christ. Manor, Texas is a fast-growing city located outside of Austin along the US 290 corridor. This opportunity includes an existing building on five acres in close proximity to four growing residential neighborhoods, with a new neighborhood currently being built directly across the street.
Our church is a multinational, bilingual fellowship that for 15 years has been committed to the needs of Manor families. Like many churches, the COVID-19 pandemic has presented a challenge toward retaining current members as well as reaching new ones. The ideal candidate will be relied upon to bring new energy and focus towards revitalizing the life and ministry of our church.
The successful candidate will combine gifting as a leader, evangelist and shepherd possessing a true heart to expand the kingdom of God in this rapidly growing area. They will create an outreach strategy that uses relational evangelism, one on one discipleship and small groups to guide seeking people into being fully engaged members of the church. They will also be tasked with developing training and volunteer systems, creating community connections with other non-profit organizations. Please send letter of interest, resume (w/two reference letters) and links to preaching and leading to Wes Porter (wes@turningpointfc.org)
Initially, the position is bivocational, eventually transitioning to full compensation as the church grows. An undergraduate degree is required, along with a seminary degree. Hiring will be contingent on background check and church planter assessment.
