This staff leader will support the vision of the church by serving as a ministry staff member, focused on leading and overseeing the Youth and Children's Ministries of Cornerstone Baptist Mesquite. This includes developing and directing outreach and evangelism, pastoral care, and other ministries to CBCM youth and their families. Cornerstone is driven by a commitment to make growing disciples of Christ who are engaged in Worship, Small Groups, Ministry, and Missions, with a commitment to a strong Family Ministry focus; all staff must actively exhibit and promote such engagement. Also, this staff leader will assist the head pastor with any task necessary to ensure the health and function of the church as a whole, and be ready to fill the pulpit whenever the head pastor is absent (illness, vacation, special events, etc.)
