Plan and implement a comprehensive and aggressive program for students in 6th – 12th grades and their families

· Plan a calendar of activities, events, and programs that reflects the church’s overall mission statement of “Encounter God, Grow in Maturity, Go Serve Others”.
· Recruit, train, coordinate and supervise teachers and volunteers to work and participate in activities, events, and programs relating to the Youth Ministry.
· Supervise, train, and lead all Youth Ministry support staff. This includes interns, worship leaders, and ministry assistant.
· Meet regularly with the entire Student Ministry staff to review and evaluate the overall Student Ministry activities, events, and programs. Assist in developing in overall Student Ministry program.
· Meet weekly with the church staff to review and evaluate all church activities, events, and programs. Clearly communicate Youth Ministry goals for the students and families.
· Develop an ongoing presence/relationship on the school campuses though regular visits to school lunches, games, concerts, activities, etc.
· Develop relationships with students and their families within the Youth Ministry that will strengthen and grow their relationship with Christ.

Participate in outreach ministries opportunities of the church
|
· Share the gospel weekly with lost students and lost parents of students, individually and corporately.
· Follow up on all youth who visited the previous week.
· Equip students and student leaders to share the gospel.
· Lead the students to develop a missional mindset.
· Make hospital and pastoral care visits as needed to youth and or youth families.

Participate in Associational, State, and National Southern Baptist entities.

· Maintain a good working relationship with associational, state, and national Southern Baptist entities.
|
