Assist with the planning, preparation, and execution of all aspects of college ministry – including but not limited to Sunday Life Bible Study, outreach events at local colleges and universities, and discipleship of students in one-on-one (same gender) or small group environments.

Assist with creating content for, and managing, college ministry social media accounts.

Assist with recruiting and training volunteers (Pathmakers) for college ministry roles.

Guide students to discover their spiritual gifts and volunteer opportunities at the campus.

Help college students get plugged into the Downtown campus so that they are meaningfully
involved in churchwide initiatives, ministries and opportunities.

Develop and cultivate relationships with ministry leaders at local colleges and universities with
the goal of creating a pathway to our college ministry and campus for involvement.

Attend staff meetings, training or churchwide gatherings when required.

On case by case basis, attend other offsite events such as college retreats, conferences, etc.

Order ministry supplies as needed.
This job description is not all-inclusive and can be modified verbally and in writing by the position supervisor.
The position is a part-time role up to 29 hours/week and pays $16/hour, which includes being required to work on Sundays at 8a-1p (5 hours) and up to 3 additional days during the week (up to 8 hours/day). Schedule during the week is flexible, but we will need the candidate to work on certain Wed nights when we have our Equip classes in the evenings (6 weeks at a time for 3 semesters throughout the year).
Our fiscal year runs from July-June. In the new fiscal year, the position may have hours reduced, or it may remain at 29 hours/week. This will be determined in the new fiscal year.
Lastly, there are no medical, dental, vision or retirement benefits for part-time positions at our church. There is also no PTO (paid time off) for vacation or sick days, but with supervisor approval you may take days off without pay when sick or needing to take time off.
