First Baptist Church of Pineland Texas is currently receiving resumes for the position of pastor. Pineland is in Sabine County (East Texas) and is located between Sam Rayburn Lake and Toledo Bend Lake. The congregation currently has about 200 resident members and averages 50-60 people on Sunday morning. This is a fulltime position with a parsonage provided. FBC is looking for a man with strong pastoral skills. He must be willing to involve himself in the life of the church and the community. He must be willing to lovingly sheperd this congregation. He needs to be a capable administrator and leader with a vision on how to reach the Pineland community. He must believe that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God and preach it with confidence. Education, experience and age requirements are secondary to finding the man that God clearly has in mind for our church.
