Music and Education Pastor

Job summary: the music and education pastor is responsible for the development and promotion of the music/worship program of the church and leading the church in planning, conducting and evaluating a comprehensive program of Christian education through Bible study, training courses and other activites.

Responsibilties:

1. Be faithful for regularly scheduled services.
2. Assist the pastor in the planning worship services.
3. Maintain music library, materials, supplies and instruments.
4. Direct or oversee all choirs.
5. Serve as music resource for church functions such as weddings, funerals and other special events.
6. Coordinate the ordering of all education materials.
7. Oversee the training of all church teachers and Sunday school leadership.
8. Actively participate in the Church's outreach program.
9. Prepare annual budget for music ministry and education ministry and administer the approved budget.
10. Be accountable to the pastor.  

Requirements:

1. Have a testimony that reflects Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
2. Have a passion for Jesus and worshipping Him through music.
3. Have a desire to be a team player with other staff members.

This postion is considered full-time and salary is based on experience.
