Salary: $50,000–$60,000 (Based on Experience)

About the Position

Calvary Baptist Church of Nacogdoches is seeking a Youth/Student Pastor to disciple and lead middle school, high school, and college students under the leadership of the Senior Pastor. This role focuses on spiritual growth, discipleship, outreach, and leadership development while engaging students and their families in the life of the church.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and lead weekly youth and college ministries, Bible studies, retreats, mission trips, and outreach events.
  • Disciple students and equip parents in spiritual leadership at home.
  • Provide pastoral care through counseling, visitation, and crisis support.
  • Recruit and mentor volunteer leaders to serve in student ministry.
  • Collaborate with church leadership on student worship, education, and service.
  • Oversee and manage the youth and college ministry budget.
  • Assist the Senior Pastor with pastoral duties, including preaching, counseling, and church ordinances as needed.

Qualifications              

  • growing disciple of Christ with a clear calling to student ministry.
  • Agreement with the Baptist Faith & Message 2000.
  • Ministry experience in youth and/or college student leadership.
  • Strong biblical teaching, communication, and relational skills.
  • A degree in ministry, theology, or a related field (preferred).
