Lead/Senior Pastor

As Senior Pastor, you will oversee the church's ministries, staff, and mission efforts, while fostering spiritual growth and unity within the church. This role requires strong leadership, a heart for discipleship, and alignment with the beliefs and practices of the Southern Baptist Convention.

 Senior Pastor Duties and Responsibilities

• Preach sermons, lead worship services, and provide spiritual guidance to the congregation
• Develop and implement a long-term vision for the church
• Lead staff, including the recruitment and supervision of pastors and other staff members
• Create and supervise programs and activities
• Provide pastoral counseling and spiritual guidance to members of the congregation
• Lead outreach and mission efforts

Senior Pastor Requirements and Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a pastoral or religious leadership role
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Able to lead and motivate a team
• Knowledge of Christian teachings and doctrine
• Able to build relationships and collaborate with other religious organizations
• Passion for helping others and promoting the spiritual growth of church members
• Willingness to relocate to Cleveland Texas or surrounding communities 

The average attendance for Sunday School is around 115 people and Sunday morning service is 175. We have a blend of young families and older members.  The staff includes:  youth/associate minister, music minister, secretary, children's/PDO director and custodians
