First Southern Baptist Church , Fritch Texas is prayerfully searching for a dedicated pastor to come and lead in their Bi-Vocational Pastor position. The church would like to grow spiritually as well as numerically. The desired candidate should be gifted in preaching, teaching, and pastoral care.FSBC Fritch was established in 1951 and is located at 520 Overland Trl, Fritch, Texas. Fritch is located near Amarillo, about 30 minutes North. Nearby landmarks – Palo Duro Canyon, Lake Meredith National Recreation Area.We are a Southern Baptist Church with a small congregation that averages about 70 - 80 in attendance at Sunday School and Sunday morning service with great attendance on Wednesday nights (including area youth). We feel that there is tremendous opportunity for growth in our community. Our Pastor would need to be bi-vocational or have an additional source of income. A parsonage is not provided. We are optimistic that we will not need a bi-vocational pastor for long, we anticipate returning to a full time pastor in the near future.The Pastor will lead Sunday morning worship services, and Wednesday night prayer meetings.
